UNDEREXPOSED/ OVEREXPOSED/ WELL EXPOSED SHOT
In this post I will show you how to capture a well lit photo with the background and the subject both exposed well. I first wanted to show you what a bad picture looks like when it is not exposed well. The first picture shows a well exposed background but a dark subject. The second picture shows a well exposed subject but an overexposed background. In order to capture the last photo I used two lights and a reflector if needed. I put the lights to the left of the subject and one at a 45 degree angle. When you have a lights you can underexpose the shot in your camera and use the flash to light the subject so both the subject and the background are well lite.
